A ring carved from a root growing from a place of a one's corruption.
The reason for blackroot growing at the site of corruption is still unknown. The roots are extremely resilient and take immense effort to cut down, to the point that those who have been successful have fashioned what they can harvest into armour and weapons.
Once a corrupted soul has been felled, the roots which have sprouted from the site of corruption lose their bark, revealing a dark crimson core. The bark is then used to craft husks, which can assist in abstaining corruption.
